AI search audit,
United Kingdom
An AI search audit assesses whether systems that answer questions rather than list links can find, understand and safely repeat information about your business. OG01 examines five areas — brand presence, answer visibility, supporting authority, technical readiness and risk — and returns a single Authority Rating with the evidence for each underneath it. The free reading covers all five at summary depth. Before any of that is useful, it is worth being clear about what an audit of this kind cannot establish.
Nothing to install, no credentials handed over, and no card at the free depth.
Four things no audit can honestly give you
- A ranking-factor list for any AI system. None of these companies publish how sources are selected, and nobody outside them can verify a list that claims to. A confident factor list is the most commonly sold unverifiable object in this category.
- A promise of inclusion or citation. An audit measures conditions on your side. Whether a third-party system then names you is that system's decision, and no measurement can commit to it in advance.
- A reliable timeframe. Changes depend on recrawling and, for anything involving external sources, on other organisations acting. Anyone quoting you a number of weeks is guessing with a decimal point attached.
- An attributed case study. "We got this brand cited" cannot be demonstrated from outside, because the counterfactual is unobservable. OG01 does not publish one.
Everything below is what remains once those are removed — which is considerably more useful than it sounds, because it is all measurable and all repeatable.
The five areas examined
Brand presence
Whether your organisation resolves to a single, unambiguous entity. For UK businesses this is largely a question of whether your registered identity, your trading identity and your published identity agree with one another across your own site and the records that describe you.
Answer visibility
Whether you appear when the questions your customers actually ask are put to assistants. Prompts are run and the responses recorded — which businesses were named, and how yours was described when it was. This is a record of what came back at that moment rather than a standing position, and it is reported as such, because responses vary between runs and a vendor charting them as stable rankings is selling you a graph of noise.
Supporting authority
Whether anything other than your own website corroborates what you claim. Self-published assertions are the cheapest signal available and are weighted accordingly by systems deciding what is safe to repeat.
Technical readiness
Whether your pages can be fetched, parsed and quoted — including whether the substance lives in the served document or is assembled afterwards in the browser, which is the failure most likely to be invisible in a conventional report.
Risk and exposure
What inaccurate, stale or contradictory information about you is already circulating. In the UK this most often means legacy directory entries, an acquired company's old identity that never went away, and offices that closed without anyone updating the listings.
What audits keep turning up on British domains
What you get, and what it costs
One measurement, opened to three depths. A deeper reading explains the figure you already have rather than producing a new one, so what the free version showed is what the paid versions account for.
- Free reading. An Authority Rating from 0 to 100 built from the four scoring cards — Brand Intelligence, Search Intelligence, AI Readiness and AI Risk & Exposure — plus the highest-priority actions. Roughly a minute and a half, and no card is asked for.
- Snapshot. Every one of the four core Smart Cards opened up, with the priority actions ordered and a competitor gap comparison alongside them.
- Full Intelligence Report, $399 as a single purchase, or $299 where a Snapshot is already held against the same domain. Every measured signal, the competitor authority gap, the prompts used to test how assistants describe your business, and implementation detail attached to each finding.
- Full price list → — every tier and what remediation costs, in one place.
Managed remediation is separate and is the only part priced as a subscription. It runs across five Smart Cards — the four scoring cards plus Local Intelligence, a remediation workstream that is not included in the free score or the Snapshot and does not contribute to the composite Authority Rating.
